Pool and Hydrotherapy

Our swimming and hydrotherapy services are suited to pets of all ages who love the water. Bring your pet to our big indoor pool to experience all the benefits of hydrotherapy. Our heated, non-chlorinated pool is open year-round.

What are the benefits of hydrotherapy?

Swimming is the best exercise for your pet. It’s relaxing, and promotes agility and balance. Since water provides resistance, swimming helps your pet build muscle strength and burn the same amount of energy it would taking a walk or running. The difference is that swimming is low impact, placing minimal stress on the joints. It’s therefore an activity recommend for all animals suffering from join problems, such as osteoarthritis, hip or elbow dysplasia, ruptured or torn cruciate ligaments, etc. Patients who have undergone orthopedic surgery and are in rehabilitation may also benefit from hydrotherapy.

What happens during a swimming session?

If you would like your pet to take advantage of our swimming facilities, contact us to book an appointment. Swimming sessions are private, and your dog will be the only animal in the pool. We also let our clients go into the pool with their pet if they like. If you don’t feel like taking a dip, a qualified staff member can accompany your pet into the pool.

We provide animal life vests in all sizes as well as hairdryers and towels. Clients can also access our drying and grooming room free of charge.
